Simulator company Cruden may have finally outdone themselves. Their new opus is a $200,000 F1 simulation. To say this thing comes with bells and whistles would be a severe understatement. The simulator claims to have 6 DOF (Degrees of Freedom), a 100% accurate steering wheel and G-force simulation for multiple values of G. It uses the same equipment as professional racers and engineers, and propreietary software that cannot be bought elsewhere. You can choose from three 42-inch screens or stereo projectors, single or three-seat setup, open/closed cockpit and an optional bodykit. Wow. Who knew “Pole Position” would one day evolve into this?
