This is a big day for bathing in luxury and style. Italian manufacturer Carmenta has officially released their Revolution shower cabin. This thing has so many bells and whistles, it’s more a wellness center than a simple shower cabin. Revolution is a full steam bath, sauna and shower in one luxurious package. It also features an in-house LCD and full iPod integration. The photo also shows off the LED lights that makes the whole thing pop. Carmenta also allows you to mix and match features with some of their other makes and models. Build the bathroom of your dreams.

The beautifully realized round shape looks like something out of Woody Allen’s “Sleeper.” The dual metal taps and nozzles are also something out of what was formerly science fiction. Famed high-end home furnisher iB Rubinetterie is back with a series of interesting shower heads. They purport to emulate a psychedelic rain shower, complete with everchanging colors. The units are available in a modern chrome finish with a choice of a 280 mm square design or a 600 mm round design. You can even customize the water jets, from a gentle spray to a torrential rain storm. This, coupled with the aforementioned light show, are sure to keep you in your bathroom long after your many parts are cleaned. Pricing has yet to be announced.
