Ulysse Nardin have been making high-class watches for a long, since the 1800s. The company has always dedicated itself to making the kind of timepieces that fans lust after. Their new unit, the Monaco 2011 Executive Dual Time watch, is no exception. Also it’s being manufactured in a limited edition run so you had better get on it.
The first thing you notice about this watch is its unique design. That particular blue tone isn’t one you see in watches often and it certainly is a sight for sore eyes. The 43 mm wide casing is done in industrial grade stainless steel which is also a sight for those same sore eyes. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers the case and the watch can tell two different times at once, thus the dual in the moniker. It uses an old-school winding functionality for power which is also pretty cool. That’s how they did it in the 1800s you know. Or not.
Only 100 of these are going to be made so you could be the first and only kid on your block sporting this piece of chrono-history. No price has been announced yet but one can assume it would cost a pretty penny.
You love watches. You love games. What do you do? You can’t very well carry two things around can you? No, you can’t. With this in mind, enter Ritmo Mundo and their incredible inedible Ritmo Mundo puzzle watch.
This luxury timepiece features a unique sliding puzzle game, as you can see above. Don’t worry, though. This watch is also known for keeping good time. That’s important, after all. The timepiece is made of Swiss Sellita SW 200 automatic technology. It’s also water proof for you Michael Phelps out there.
All of this gaming pleasure will set you back, however. Expect to pay about $20,000 for the top-of-the-line version of this watch and $3,500 for a low grade version. You feel, don’t you? Only spending $3,500 on your timepiece. Geeze, small timer.
Donatella Versace has put her stamp on a great number of things. What’s the haps now? Watches, or shall we say, timepieces. Versace’s DV One is the top of the line timepiece you have always dreamed of, whether you knew it or not.
First of all, the whole thing is protected by, well, starch. It sounds weird but it works. These things are indestructible. The dial details are in red enamel and the strap is, as you can see, deep purple. The entire thing screams elegance. The theme of the watch was unsurprisingly culled by the winter/fall Versace collection.
The production will be limited to only 99 timepieces with a special “blue emerald” version only available via special order. No prices have been announced but guess what? It’ll be a lot.
We all want the best in life. So why let our lovely new iPads lay around in just any old case? Dolce & Gabbana are saying heck no to that and have released the definitive in luxury iPad cases. Cool!
This opulent and dazzling iPad case certainly is a winner in the looks department. It’s made of shimmery sequins and authentic black leather. Of course, the entire thing was constructed in Italy. Where else could it have been fashioned?
One can tell, though, that this case has been made with women in mind. Sorry guys. Maybe next time the fashion house will releases a more manly design. Until then, get to it ladies! Oh yeah, it’ll cost you $1,175. Luxury does not come cheap.
TAG Heuer makes some great watches. They also make smartphones. Some of these smartphones are even adorned with animal leather. Such is the case with the company’s new Link line of smartphones. They come packed in your choice of lizard leather, alligator leather or calfskin(That’s cow leather, for the layman.)
They aren’t just about killing animals, though. These phones pack quite a wallop in the features department. First of all, they are nearly waterproof, thanks to all of that disgusting leather. Everything about this phone screams durability. Go ahead. Try dropping one from a third story building. We dare you. Odds are it will be just fine.
This phone is also equipped with a 16 million color touchscreen, 256 MB of RAM, and an 8 GB memory card. Not bad at all. Android 2.2 is the OS of choice, which makes sense. It certainly isn’t going to be Windows 7.
All of that leather is going to set you back. The Link costs around $6750, depending on what customization options you go for.
Vertu know their way around luxury handsets, that is for sure. So what has the company been up to nowadays? They have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on their carbon-fiber smartphone, the Vertu Constellation. This thing is a marvel of design and functionality.
The keypad and screen feature sapphire and each key is individually made and installed. Those aforementioned keys are also crafted from sapphire crystal. So much sapphire I can barely stand it! In a good way, of course.
On the functionality front, the Constellation shines brighter than, well, a constellation. The ringtones were designed by the London Orchestra and Benjamin Wallfisch. The phone also features a unique in-built dual time-zone clock which displays the time for multiple locations at the same time. Vertu will also keep all of your sensitive data safe on the cloud, should you ever lose your phone in a drunken brawl.
The phone is available now.

Renowned Swiss watchmaker Hublot has now announced the new Masterpiece Collection. The MP-01 watch is the first Hublot barrel-shaped watch that has been developed and manufactured by the Confrerie Horlogere Hublot (a team of 30 of the skilled watchmakers within Hublot).
The movement of the watch is manually wound, has 240 hours of power reserve and a 30-minute monopusher chronograph. The calibre offers a 10-day power reserve owing to its three barrels working in series.
Only 100 of these bad boys were made and each one clocks in at a cool $80,000.
