Swiss manufacturer Now’s “world’s most expensive mouse” comes in three choices of 18-karat white, yellow or red gold. The mouse features 59 diamonds in either a flower or scattered design. For such an expensive mouse one would think it would offer a resolution higher than 800 dpi, but for the privilege of having another “world’s most expensive ___” we suppose that’s a small price to pay in paying such a large price.
Alexander Amosu has just revealed his latest piece of work, the fist Diamond iPhone. Most recently we saw the iteration of a Gold Dipped iPhone from GoldStriker. Now we get the Diamond encrusted iPhone from Amosu. This 8GB iPhone consists of 420 diamonds totaling 5.65 carats set in 18k white or yellow gold, with a choice of white, black, or pink sapphires.

New Zealand mechanic Rudy Heeman has just developed a two passenger hovercraft that has the ability to lift off, leaving other water based craft in its wake. The hovercaft is has been developed over the last eleven years. Its’ optimum height is about 4ft 6in above the water. The hoverwing sets off like a normal-hovercraft but when it reaches top speed of 60mph, its wings can be extended and it takes flight. Rudy Heeman believes there may be a commercial market for his creation-the hoverwing. He believes that his invention is an extremely efficient method of transport, travelling at about 6ft over the water and reaching speeds of over 60mph across the surface.
Heeman Officially calls this invention a ‘wing in ground effect vehicle’ - a hovercraft which is able to fly due to a set of unusual aerodynamics. Heeman’s first test flight actually ended in a crash landing. He was lucky and escaped with only a bruised leg. After the accident Heeman made adjustments to the Hovercraft and now believes the hoverwing is ready. , but Mr Heeman has yet to decide who to choose.

Canon U.S.A., announced today the development of two all-new telephoto lenses for use with its EOS SLR cameras:
- EF200mm f/2L IS USM
- EF800mm f/5.6L IS USM
The new Canon EF200mm f/2L IS USM and EF800mm f/5.6L IS USM, are both L (luxury)-series lenses which incorporate a high-performance Image Stabilizer, and feature optical systems utilizing special optical materials such as fluorite to correct chromatic aberrations, which makes possible high-resolution, high-contrast shooting performance.
The Canon EF200mm f/2L IS USM, is targeted to users who seek a brighter lens for portraiture and indoor sports photography. The EF800mm f/5.6L IS USM is expected to deliver telephoto performance surpassing the current top-of-the-line EF600mm f/4L.
Pricing and availability information on the new L-Series Lenses are not yet available as both of these new lenses are currently under development.

Nissan has just released details about their NV200 Mobile Office Concept Vehicle. THe NV200 is Nissan’s take on a next generation mobile office commercial vehicle. The NV200 features a storage area that slides from the rear of the van. In the cars current iteration it is shown filled with tools for an ocean photagrapher. The rear pod accommodates all the equipments a professional ocean photographer needs including a a remote control panel for a spider camera, as well as equipment for organizing and editing photographs and images while on assignment apart from a variety of diving gear including flippers, oxygen tanks and an underwatersea scooter.The sliding storge area is designed to be customizable, housing a pod that can be swapped with the owners needs. The trays and boxes in the compartment can be arranged to suit any number of profession specific equipment.
Inside of the Nissan NV200 is a computer workstation. This is actually the second mobile office vehicle we’ve seen from Nissan. Last year they showed us the science-lab themed 2006 Nissan Terranaut.
No official word on whether or not the Nissan NV200 will ever make it to production. It is however an awesome vehicle that could one day find practical use.
